Friday, May 24th we’re hosting our first Classic Film night at Myriad Centre with the theme “Film Noir.”
If your not familiar with the term, Film Noir is a label that French critics gave to a new style of American film making in the middle of the 20th century.
As the term suggests, these films tend to be dark – in theme, plot, characters – and in the ways these elements are enhanced through the use of novel lighting and camera techniques.
